Yep, completely agree the film would be infinitely better had it focused on the aboriginal characters instead of the white people. Glad you appreciated those aspects at least.

I find myself agreeing with you for the most part. Personally the father-daughter subplot worked on an emotional level, but then as a dad who has to share custody I connected with those elements easil

All perfectly said. The post-credits scene is still one of my favorite scenes period for 2017.

Glad you found it worth watching, even if you didn't appreciate it as deeply as I did. Interesting that you felt the main character seemed too young to have gone through what he had prior to the event

Yep, that post-credits scene was totally worth waiting for. [spoiler]I just wish we didn't have to wait for the next movie, because holy crap it's going to be awesome. I wanted it to start right after

Yep, agreed all around. It really bugged me too that Kazan looks too young to be the girl's mother. Here's hoping Bertino's next film is better.

Yeah...I felt like all the scenes that were homages to old Hollywood kept them from developing the story on this one while also bouncing us around between too many characters. Definitely a disappointm

Yep, Green Room is easily among my favorite films this year right now. So well done all around. Glad to see you dug it too. And definitely check out Blue Ruin when you get a chance.
